Operation: Give Back to Guinarona–A Development Framework

Our Paradigms:
“The supreme mission of man is to help his fellow man.”—Dalai Lama
“Kung hindi tayo kikilos, sino ang kikilos? Kung hindi ngayon, kailan?”—A shibboleth during the Makibaka days.
“Give man a fish, and he is fed a meal. Teach him how to fish, and he is set for life.”—The Holy Bible.
“If you build it, they will come. . .” – From the film, “Field of Dreams.”

The Concept:

Synergy in clusters. Livelihood projects for the Guinarona Parish.
The organization has these clusters: EAST: Sampaguita, Ga-as, Ormocay, Patong; WEST: Paraiso, Sawahon, Cabunga-an, Palacio, Hitomnog; NORTH: Guinarona Proper, Hinulugan, Maliwaliw, Bolirao, Bayabas; SOUTH: Lobe-Lobe East, Liraw, Buri, Kalipayan, Kadahunan, Tabu-anon
Each cluster has sub-clusters such as Food Products, Arts and Crafts, Eco Tourism; Agriculture and Livestock.
Each cluster has a leader and a committee of peers. Each sub-cluster has a resource person/mentor/trainer.

The output/products will be marketed/sold/displayed at a common Marketing/Display Center/Grand Tiangge or Tabu-an. We envision the weekly tabu to start in December 2012.

Proposed signage of the Grand Tiangge. Location: Paraiso, Guinarona

The products will be featured on The San Pascual Website. Suggested trade name/brand: SAN PASCUAL DE GUINARONA.

Inasmuch as we are in the incubation stage, each cluster will find a way to fund-raise with the view that such funds will revolve, i.e. “utang” and paid for, so that other projects will be funded as well.

SO PLEASE DO VOLUNTEER!
